Ms. Ryan, my Father, Joy O Isaac, was your patient last week and I have to tell you he is so happy at the progress of his vision improving. He says it’s improving each day and we are so thrilled at this progress and want to thank you for all you have done for him. I am so pleased to know there are treatments available to help those with certain common diseases of the eye such as macular degeneration. I have corneal ulcers and have had since the age of 3, so I may be one of your patients as I grow older as well. Thank you, Patricia Robins

Dear Liz,
A belated 'Thank You' for restoring my independence - and life. Life is good again. So grateful. We have shared my story with lots of people and shared the packets sparingly. The big drawback seems to be that Medicare doesn't cover part of the expense so some are having a hard time. The new packets came yesterday. Thank you. A lady from Kingman named 'Cleo' said you would hear from her soon. Also one from Dodge City, KS. So you are getting publicity. Dino will have stories to tell you when we see you in October. Take good care of yourself, and stay well.
Thank you so much
Our love and prayers,
Dino/Edie
Jack Williams
Jack is 91 years old and has been coming to Arkansas Acupuncture Center since September 2011. Before acupuncture Jack's macular degeneration was so bad that he was not able to see well enough to drive. Fortunately, after finding the Arkansas Acupuncture Center he is now able to drive again. Jack first came to AAC September 5, 2011 and has since received a total of 24 treatments. The images below show significant improvement to his visual field.

The first image is of his visual field scan before acupuncture treatments. The second image is after a total of 24 acupuncture treatments and was taken on January 12, 2012. A visual field scan tracks a patient’s progress. Dark colors represent limited vision, black represents no vision at all, lighter colors represent clearer vision. See Jack's video testimony or contact us for additional information.
Grace and Jim Bovard
Grace and Jim both have macular degeneration. They travel from Indiana to Arkansas Acupuncture Center for treatments and "highly recommend it.". They have found help after medical doctors told them there was no hope for their loss of vision.

Elaine Pinkerton
February 2, 2006
Hi, My name is Elaine Pinkerton and I would like for anyone with macular degeneration to know about the Arkansas Therapy Center. In 1999, at the age of 59, I was diagnosed with MD and was told there was nothing that could be done. Basically, I was told to go home and go blind. The same week, one of our local TV stations had a special on the Arkansas Therapy Center and the great results that they were getting with eye treatments. I called the next day. What a wonderful thing that acupuncture can help your eyes. Dr. Per Otte started treating me in 1999. I go back to Arkansas for a week or two each year.

Before I started coming to the Arkansas Therapy Center I brought my husband to have eye treatments. After he died I went for an eye exam and was told I was at the beginning of macular degeneration and he said for me to eat green veggies. Other than that I would go blind in a few years as there was no known cure. I told him I knew where to go for help and he rolled back on his stool and told me again to accept that I would go blind. I went home and called for an appointment to see Dr. Otte located in Hot Springs Village shopping center. I started treatments in 1998 and now I am treated by Dr. Ryan.
Once a year I go in for a “tune up” and I have great eye sight including 20/20 vision and no eye glasses. Twice I have gone in for an eye exam and I was told my vision was 20/20 and there were no problems. When I told them the story they were surprised and never heard of a treatment being available.

Dear Dr. Ryan,
Just a note to say thanks for all that you have done for me. Your knowledge and experience on macular degeneration and related eye disorders is encyclopedic. My eye condition with angioid streaks has been put into a stable state, due to your acupuncture treatments on me. I know this because I have just returned from my appointment with the head of ophthalmology at Northwestern Hospital in Chicago. He has just informed me that my eyes have changed little to none in the last few years. I attribute this to your treatment and vitamins. Thank you once again for all that you do for me.
