Retinitis Pigmentosa MicroAcupuncture Treatment in Northwest Arkansas

The Arkansas Acupuncture Center in Bentonville, Arkansas uses a unique form of acupuncture called MicroAcupuncture to treat Retinitis Pigmentosa. MicroAcupuncture was developed by Per Otte in the 1990’s. We have many success stories of patients who have come to us for Retinitis Pigmentosa treatment. Take a look at our testimonials to see real-life interviews with patients who have found enhanced vision through our alternative medicine treatments for Retinitis Pigmentosa.

Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP) is a group of inherited eye diseases that cause degeneration of photoreceptor cells of the retina, the area in the back of the eye that contains light sensitive cells commonly called rods and cones. Many cases of RP are due to an autoimmune reaction where the immune system attacks the cells. A majority of the time, patients with Retinitis Pigmentosa will lose peripheral vision first. The disease progresses until there is only central vision, causing tunnel vision. Over time the cells in the center of the retina are destroyed and the patient will become totally blind, or will have only small areas of low vision.

Ophthalmologists tell their patients that there aren’t any available Retinitis Pigmentosa treatments. Our patients have experienced great improvement after receiving MicroAcupuncture at our Arkansas Acupuncture clinic. Take a look at our testimonials page for video interviews and letters from patients expressing their visual improvements after receiving treatment for Retinitis Pigmentosa.

 Restore Your Vision with MicroAcupuncture

Retinitis Pigmentosa is second to Macular Degeneration with regards to the number of patients treated at the Arkansas Acupuncture Center in Bentonville, Arkansas. This new treatment for Retinitis Pigmentosa is an alternative treatment called MicroAcupuncture. MicroAcupuncture can help patients gain vision, as proven over and over at our clinic.

Our hope is that most of these patients can hold around fifteen degrees of the central visual field if they start treatment while they still have some central vision. Patients with more severe conditions, where the central vision is gone, can also benefit from treatment. Although the enhancement of sight throughout the visual field is often prevalent, it is important for patients to understand that the acupuncture treatments are not a Retinitis Pigmentosa cure but a process the patient undergoes to help maintain and/or enhance their vision. Acupuncture for Retinitis Pigmentosa is one of the most promising treatments available.

The MicroAcupuncture treatment used is similar to the treatment for macular degeneration, as well as the acupuncture for Stargardt’s disease, Rod-Cone dystrophy treatment with acupuncture, and the acupuncture treatment for glaucoma.
