Lizbeth Ryan

Lizbeth Ryan is licensed by the State of Arkansas to practice acupuncture and all related techniques. She has a Master's Degree in Oriental Medicine from the International Institute of Oriental Medicine in Santa Fe, New Mexico, a Master's Degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Arizona, and a Bacholor's Degree in Business Administration from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennslyvania. She was trained as an emergency medical technician.

Lizbeth is owner and acupuncturist at the Arkansas Acupuncture Center, and utilizes a method for treating degenerative eye diseases that has shown to be effective for treating many cases of retinal and optic nerve disorders such as Macular Degeneration, Retinitis Pigmentosa, Glaucoma, Diabetic Retinopathy and Stargardt's Disease. She practices Chinese herbology, Chinese massage, homeopathy, food and diet therapy, and nutrition.

Lizbeth Ryan is trained in myofacial trigger point therapy for the treatment of pain. She utilizes a unique style of acupuncture that is highly effective for treating all types of pain.

Lizbeth Ryan works with patients who have problems with circulation including macular degeneration, peripheral neuropathy, restless leg syndrome and fibromyalgia.  She is trained in treating all aspects of internal medicine diseases.

Educating patients is one of the most important aspects of her work. She never misses an opportunity to share information about acupuncture, herbal medicine and nutrition to help patients make the lifestyle changes that bring balance and harmony to their health and lives.
